What we do
Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are educated and competent in complementary roles to provide safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy. They help you to make informed decisions about your health, health goals, and health treatments. They participate in programs that prevent disease to keep you, your family, and your community healthy. They provide you with information about medications, healthy living, and disease prevention. They educate students of pharmacy and other health sciences. Some contribute to the research and development of new drugs, and others dedicate themselves to leadership and administrative roles in pharmacy, health policy, and health benefit programs.
